Description: Glyceryl Caprylate is a completely plant derived ingredient, Ecocert approved. It has emollient and moisturizing properties, but also is an emulsifier (it helps oil and water to blend).  Most importantly, it also has strong antimicrobial activity, which has made it a perfect natural preservative and has replaced many synthetic preservatives.
