Description: Pyrus malus (apple) fruit extract is loaded with proteins, starch, sugars, acids, vitamins and salts. The sugars (mainly fructose, glucose, sucrose) give apple fruit extract nice moisturizing and smoothing properties, while the acids (mainly malic and gallic acid) give it mild exfoliant, skin brightening and antibacterial properties. It is a great source of polyphenolic antioxidants, which scavenges multiple types of free radicals before they damage skin.
